Marstons Brewery have given the go ahead to dismantle a disabled purpose built toilet to a kitchen to sell food. The village has a Marstons pub less that 150 yards away which sell food, a Chinese takeaway, an Indian takeaway, a burger/pizza takeaway, another pub near tescos and 2 shops, tesco and premier all of which food can be purchased from.

People who have physical and learning disabilities have been using this pub for the last 8 years and with no thought or consultation with them they are going ahead and ripping out the facilities for disabled people therefore disempowering them from using the pub ever again!

This petition is too speak out for all those disabled people who can no longer use this facility as they need carers with them at all times ( the ordinary toilet cannot facilitate a carer and a disabled person) so I would like u to join me in supporting them have a voice to say NO to a kitchen and YES to disabled people being able to continue to be part of society ...
