Disgusting even more so when you ban loyal customers for having the courage to speak up for those less fortunate !

Pubs should be a place where all adults in society can go. Taking away the disabled toilet is a barrier which will prevent previous loyal customers from not being able to use the pub. If the landlords feels the Red Lion would benefit from a kitchen then build one upstairs and leave the disabled toilet alone. The landlords seem resolute on the plans and I would urge them to speak to their customers who have disabilities and explain to them why their establishment will be no longer be suitable for them. Be aware landlords you will see a lot of upset faces. Your customers you no longer want have been socialising at the Red Lion way before you popped up. Let’s hope community spirit prevails over money.

Adults with learning disabilities have been going to this pub for many years, its not right that they are being excluded due to the restrictions.

One more example of how people with a physical or sensory impairment are being discriminated against in Britain

not very good to have restrictions with accessing a disabled toilet,if its there it should be available to venerable adults to access freely.......and the fact that residents spent their money in the pub and r unable to access the facilitys that suit their needs.....where is the customer service here

surely by closing the toilets Andy and Christine are discriminating against disabled people? They have human needs too! Sort it out

Due to this petition I have since been informed by the manager of the pub he would prefer it if I stayed out the pub as I'm clearly not happy! Well actually Andy & Christine Rockcliffe, NO IM NOT HAPPY. People with disabilities are excluded enough and know it's time to make sure the people I support like thousands of other carers are heard on behalf of the people who are unable to do it themselves

Bit jack isn't it. Many walks of life have used this pub over the years- and now some aren't even left with the CHOICE.
