Don't understand why this is being done but I have always thought the world of Dehart! He took my son and my niece under his wing. I have always had a great respect for him.

Football is a big thing for King William, it helps some kids that don’t have anything else. I wasn’t there to personally know this coach, but he has proven that he is good at his job and dedicated to these students.

I've known Mr. DeHart long before he was the head football coach at King William High School. He's a man of the highest character and exactly the type of mentor the young men he coaches need both on and off the field. He has proven over his coaching career that he is a winner and is very well respected amongst his peers in the coaching community. While I hope that clearer minds will prevail and Coach Dehart will be reinstated, I urge those who have signed this petition to remember the bafoonery exhibited by those who have made this decision and hold them accountable for their actions in the future.

I graduated in 2015, DeHart is not only a coach to these boys on the field but to every student that walks in his path. This a huge mistake and it needs to be corrected immediately!
