My son graduated in 2018. But, played for him for four years! I never had a problem with him, and always kept my son accountable. I have a lot of respect for him and I hope by signing this petition we as parents and students will be heard, and changes will be made!

I wish the details weren't so secretive but that tells you in itself something isn't right. What is apparent is the kids had a coach they love and they want them back. If they're this passionate and willing to fight for him then I am willing to support them.

As a 2015 graduate of King William High School, I saw firsthand the passion and dedication Coach DeHart has for his students and all athletes, especially the football team. Dylan DeHart cares for the success of the county and contributes substantially to the advancement of KWHS students on an academic, athletic, and personal level. Give him back his job!

I support Coach. My daughter graduated in 2017. She loved him as a teacher!
Instead of firing Dehart, our board she be replaced. They must treat their teachers horribly because many teachers want to leave, if they haven’t already.

Personally had this man as a teacher while I attended King William High. He has a passion for football this school hasn’t seen since Roger Brooks. Declining this man his passion to teach our youth the great American sport of football would be a crime in itself.

He was a great guy but not so well coach honestly. They’ve always had athletes but never could finish a game because of the final play call for many years. Reason why he can still teach but not coach.
