He’s a good man and his image is being disrespected by the media. This is what he does, he genuinely cares about students at ECU and wants people to do good.

Dan Gerlach should absolutely not be punished for this event. He was instrumental to, not only my, but hundreds of students’ college success and ECU would lose an invaluable resource if he were asked to leave. I stand in solidarity with Dan.

This is crazy. Unless you have more evidence of inappropriate behavior than this his dismissal is unwarranted. I support the current interim chancellor.
