The school administration reversed the decision and Coach O will return for the upcoming year. I am currently coordinating with the athletic department to ensure the transition remains stable. We hit our objective but I will continue tracking the staffing situation throughout the season.

Coach O has been given a letter by Archbishop Riordan High School saying that his services will not be required in the 2016/2017 school year. This petition is to keep Coach O at Riordan and not force him to leave this school.

The administration has acknowledged the volume of signatures and requested a formal meeting to discuss the matter. I am currently preparing the documentation and the rationale for retaining Coach O to present during our session.

This is crazy coach o was one of my favorite teachers during my time at ARHS he showed me more than just the basic curriculum he taught us about life, in a way that was more than academic. In a way that we could actually relate to
Over the course of 40 years of teaching and coaching, Mr. Oross has had only one objective, the best welfare and guidance of every student or player he comes in contact with. He is Riordan HS.
Coach Oross has been a valuable part of the Riordan family for as long as I can remember. He was instrumental in developing, and fostering my sense of integrity, devotion, and work ethic. By not including him as a staff member, Archbishop Riordan High School is doing a great disservice to its student body.
Frank Oross was my registry teacher Freshman year. He instilled discipline and commanded respect. He was serious when he needed to be and used humor as a teaching device. We could use more teachers like him.
This is RIDICULOUS; he's not the one that should be receiving this letter. He is the heart & soul of the athletic program, & it's disgusting the way he's been treated due to him standing up & behind his morals & being the MAN that ARHS taught him to be.
You better bring coach o back or you will ALL be out of a job

Supporting his players on something that was dismissed and not brought to trial is what he should have done. I commend him for giving his players a voice and to act on what they believe to be right.
