Clive made a big impact in our lives as young adults. We continue to use the knowledge we gained under his teaching in the ministry my husband and I run now.

Craigen has been such an influential member of the Moody community as well as giving students the amazing opportunity to minister in a real life setting while also doing their studies. He cares so much about his students and always had an open office

Clive is one of the main reasons that I have a passion to see the last, the least, and the lost come to Christ. He has equipped me and countless other students with essential tools to reach this next generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ. His empahsis on ministry to the marginalized and oppressed is one of the main takeaways from my time at Moody and I would not be the person I am today without that valuable insight. My calling in life was directly influenced by Professor Craigan and I am confident that is true of so many other students. It would a tragedy for Moody Bible Institute to lose this irreplaceable professor.

Don’t get rid of the man. He does more for this institution and students than any of the wealthy administrative heads put together.

Professor Craigen was and is a great professor! As a minority student I felt like he was one of the VERY FEW professors who truly stood in the gap for us and helped us to process what we saw sometimes on campus as well as how to process how we felt about things that happened on campus. During my entire time at Moody I was in student leadership with Embrace. He was always a great resource for us both to the student body and the administration. I support the renewal of his contract.

The last thing Moody as an institution should be doing is letting go of anybody who actually understands the importance of diversity in the Christian faith.

Clive Craigen was an amazing professor with a different teaching style, while at times he rubbed people the wrong way his perspective on current issues was extremely valuable and often offered angles that students may not have thought of before. Moody would be a worse off place without him.

I can’t imagine my time at Moody without Craigen. I cringe at how I used to think about the city before my urban ministry classes. I’m extremely thankful for his heart and ability to meet people where they are at in the learning process. God used Craigen to teach me how to listen to Gods voice and that’s something I will be forever grateful for!

Clive Craigen's love and care for students and sharing the Gospel is unlike anything else I've seen. For all of the unique qualities he brings to the table to not be represented in our professors would be a significant loss for MBI education.

My time at Moody was powerfully formative for me because of Craigen. His work at the school and in the city, as well as his care for me, shaped my experience at Moody and helped me fall in love with Jesus and the gospel in new ways. My ability to reconcile and be an ally for minorities and people of color is a direct result of this man and his ministry. The Institute will do itself grave harm if it stands by this decision.

Craigen is a huge asset to Moody and as a student and now alumnus I have been blessed to sit under his teaching and hear his heart for students, missions, and Chicago. His perspective on diversity is a voice Moody needs in its faculty and leadership. His ability to push the boundaries on missions conference challenged me as an intercultural major and has been refreshing and an honor to participate in as a visiting missionary. Please reconsider your decision!

Losing Clive Craigen would be an incredibly short-sighted and foolish move for the Institute.

Please renew his contract. He is a real asset to Moody Bible Institute. He challenged our class to take our faith to the street. His continual involvement in ministry in the city of Chicago is a strong example for all to model.
