I've gotten to know Clive not only as a student but as a son. He has opened his heart, home, and family to me when I was in need and his theology lived before my eyes everyday. Moody would endure an incalculable loss to let go of Clive.

As a Moody grad and Clive’s former teacher at Black Forest Academy, I cannot understand why Moody would dispense with a man of such talent, integrity, vision, and spiritual commitment. Please do not do this!

I do not know very much about Clive Craigen, but I know that he influenced many of the students here with his passion for God and the students. He is one of the most well-known professors for his good character and love for students and his work as a professor. MOODY NEEDS HIM

I’m a Moody alumnus. Although I never took classes from Clive, I have heard many good things about his teaching and his presence at Moody from others. In this time of increased Evangelical abandonment of Jesus’ way of peace and justice, Moody sorely needs more voices like Clive’s calling them back to faithfulness.

Professor Craigen was more than a professor to me during my time at Moody, he was a mentor, and inspiration. Through his classes and counseling the Lord confirmed my call to be a Pastor and a Church Planter. It would be a great lost to Moody Bible Institute and future students not to sit under the teaching and mentorship of professor Craigen.

As someone with experience in Christian higher education, I would love to have Dr. Craigen on any faculty! I don't doubt he was challenging, but I also don't doubt he loves the Lord, his students, and his city with passion and excellence. Christian higher education should be about thinking critically, discerning Biblically, and ministering compassionately. Sometimes that means we don't agree, but it should make us wrestle with the ideas and learn to articulate them in a godly way to each other. Moody would be losing a great resource, mentor, and educator who is vested in the very fabric of the city you call home. I urge you to reconsider this decision.

Clive Craigen was one of the most influential figures in my years in Chicago and years at Moody. He is a man passionate about integrating what the truth of the Gospel breathes into hopeless places of injustice and racial divides. I truly would not be the same without his tutorage and mentorship since meeting him. Please prayerfully consider to renew his contract for the sake of future change agents.

My son is currently in the program . Professor has been instrumental in his growth and development. He has been an advocate and supporter academically, emotionally and spiritually. Grateful for his vision within the program and the students. Seeing the potential God has for each one.

From him pioneering the Urban Cohort program to him leading a trip to the Refugee Camp that my wife and I now serve in after graduating Moody, Clive is one of the most incredible men of God I have ever met in my life. His passion for Urban Ministries in the city of Chicago is inspirational and He really does practice what he preaches. I will never forget the night when he came over to our apartment after some of our roommates had a traumatic experience. He is always giving of himself and this would be a tremendous loss for Moody Bible Institute and the thousands of students who would miss out on taking a class with Clive or spending time with him and hearing his many stories and heart for the city and the nations.

I have personally known this great man of God since his parents were at GRACE Seminary 45 years ago. God has used him to guide many to the kingdom. It would be a great disservice to current and future students of Moody to dismiss this professor who has, and would continue to impact students with his wisdom and guidance for their future ministries.
