This is our local branch and the next one is driving distance away. Not everybody drives and public transport in these areas is a joke. Move this natwest and expect to lose customers as the local barclays would be much more convenient.

Diificult to believe such a busy branch is likely to close. As a Nat west account holder this will be a major inconvenience to me personally but also to many many more.

NatWest bank on Blackheath Standard is an invaluable resource for many shops & elderly who live locally and I also use it regularly, as well as having an online account.

This branch is usually busy, which shows how needed it is by the local community. If Natwest truly cares,it will listen, and keep it open.

Such an important part of our local community. I esp. worry about the huge amount of elderly customers who rely on local svs to leading independent lives. NWB advertises itself as compassionate. RUBBISH!!

This bank is widely used by the local thriving community and if it were closed it is some distance to the next branch.

This bank is crucial to locals who can not travel to another branch. Not everything can be done online

The intended closure of the branch will cause a lot of difficulties to those in the community relying on its services. The few remaining branches in the area are quite a distance, requiring additional travel, additional time. Service to the community seems to have been forgotten.

The branch is a lifeline for those who use personal banking. I am 70 years of age , do not have on-line banking and therefore would find it most inconvenient to have to go to Lewisham branch where you can expect to spend at least one hour trying to talk to anyone.
Also the personal, friendly service one receives at this branch is not available at Lewisham, which, unfortunately will be my nearest branch if such an inconsiderate and crass decision as closure is upheld.

In relation to local transport routes closure renders personal banking, especially for the elderly and local businesses, impossible. It is a lifeline for local bank members.

It's appalling that the decision has been made to close this branch. It is a vital and essential part of the community, used by all the local shopkeepers and very large numbers of local people who would find it very difficult to use one of the remaining branches: Lewisham and Woolwich are both much too far, particularly for old people. My husband and I have used this branch for over 50 years and it will be devastating for us if it closes. Please think again, and reverse this heartless decision.

This is a very busy branch much used by local shopkeepers to pay in cash, and by elderly people and those still receiving cheques. I use it almost every day.

The bank is needed for local businesses and residents. Many older people use this branch who are unable to use online banking. The closure of this branch will be detrimental to our local community.
