As of 5/6/2014, BBC Radio 1's "BBC Introducing" show has been axed from the program as a result of cuts. This show supports up and coming musicians and is responsible for the mainstream breakthrough of artists such as Biffy Clyro, Bombay Bicycle Club, Ed Sheeran and so many more. Without this show, Radio 1 will just be full of the same artists you've heard before (Katy Perry, Rihanna, Coldplay etc). If you are as big of a fan as music as I am then I would urge you to sign and spread around this petition to as many people as possible.
