The Douglas Students' Union constructed a wall within 6 days of informing the LGBTQAP+ students of the major change to their space. No clear communication or consultation took place. We want our our safe space secured and our voices heard. This is where you come in! We need your solidarity by signing our petition... By doing this we will bring your names forward to the DSU to show our community support for the Pride Centre. We need to revitalize our community and we need your support!!
If you are a Douglas College student please sign up as a DSU Pride Centre member by visiting the Pride Centre located in the SUB, middle floor, in the corner of the building....(we don't even have a room number yet!) Please support us in action by coming to our events and volunteering to keep the space open.
