Finding some concrete support with peers and lecturers is very helpful. Not everyone can find an online suportive community. The challenge will be on ensuring that the space perpetuates the goals of acceptance and diversity for both now and the years to come.
It is essential we provide a support base for LGBTQ students on campus. This is to allow for safe haven where LGBTQ students feel safe and free from ridicule from society. Griffith University should provide facilities to keep to other universities standard and approve a queer space on campus.
Can we can the facilities to make coffee and get the uni to supply it? Also can we call it the rainbow room? Omg, can we paint it?! Paint partyyyy!

Griffith is a forward-thinking, progressive University. Show us students that you care. Give us a space to feel completely 100% free and welcome!
