We are petitioning the State of Tennessee, Board of Parole, to deny Jimmy Edward Campbell, offender number 00114639, parole at the hearing scheduled for October 2, 2017.
In the early morning hours of July 11, 1986, Jimmy Edward Campbell murdered Donna Carol Perry. She was beaten and stabbed numerous times. She was only 23 years old and left behind an almost 2 year old daughter, brother, sisters, and many family members that loved her dearly. Because of his actions, her daughter became a ward of the state and was in the foster care system for a brief time, where she was eventually adopted by family members. She never had the chance to know her mother. She is now a mother to a little girl that will never know her grandmother. We live with this loss everyday, we see it in all of the things she should have been here to witness.
We beg of you to help us keep this man in prison and out of our communities.

I know this victims daughter and granddaughter. I am signing this petition in hopes that the man responsible for a generational torture continues to pay for his crime. ~ D. Rasberry
The 2 year old now is a grown woman with her own child. A Granddaughter that will never meet her grandmother. They live without Donna daily. This monster Campbell has no rights to a life outside a cell while Donna's daughter still lives without a mother in her own cell.
We, Donna's family, respectfully ask that you make Jimmy Campbell uphold his plea bargain and serve the amount of time, 50 years that he agreed to. If he is released the door has been opened for him to harm another person. He places no value on life and has no integrity.
This man took a life...a little girl grew up without her mother..the family has to live with this loss for the rest of their lives...my daughter was taken from her family also..she had two kids that had to grow up without their mother..he doesn't deserve freedom
I have experiencedone the loss of a grandson at the hands of someone else. I don't believe murders can be rehabilated and should not receive parole ever.
you never, ever know what people are capable of! someone like this doesn't deserve to be in the free world. they deserve to be behind bars for life as the smallest punishment for their actions.
Heinous murderers should NEVER be free.They should, however, be required to do tasks to alleviate the burden on taxpayers.
