I believe that we should keep the school start times the same, just simply changing the start times without looking at the other aspects that affect students sleep, like homework loads and access to devices isn't the solution

This is unnecessary and will disrupt with our health, schedule, and sports.

listen to the students, were the ones effected by this. If you (the BOE) want us to start at 8:30, shorten the day. If you think this is the "healthy option" figure out a way to let us out before the other schools, and still start close to 8:30. You've got 2 years, plenty of time to figure it out. #notmystarttime

the start time should stay the same. people way that starting later will lead to more sleep, but we will just be getting out later, and staying up later doing homework.

The school start times should not change to later times because after school activities would be pushed later in the day and cause homework to be done later at night. As a student at RHS, the present start times are not a problem, but rather the amount of homework given. A full day of school then a couple hours of sports or other activities causes many students to do homework late at night. This not only affects students' abilities to focus clearly the next day at school but lots of homework due soon after it is assigned adds stress to students. Changing the start times of RHS to later in the day would affect after school activities and the time students would get homework done.
