As a student at RHS I think that it is awful that the board of ed have ignored the concerns and opinions of the students. In the article published it said that students voiced a slight hesitation to the start time changes. This is incorrect and the students at RHS were misrepresented. Changing the start times would mess with the schedule and lives of my famuly and others. It would effect homework, sports, service clubs, volunteer work, studies, work, and eating habits. As many people of all ages and occupations have previously stated, changing start time will be detrimental to the life of everyone in Ridgefield.

The time change will cause so much more harm than good. Teacher students and majority of parents don't want this to follow through.

I would not like school start times to change, because sports would go way too late.

pushing back the school start time will only be detrimental towards the livelihoods of RHS students. As a hockey player, my practices will either be forced to take place before school (about 5am) or late at night (about 10pm). This would be absolutely unacceptable and I would be forced to quit hockey in order to maintain my academic standards

The change is unnecessary and will disrupt too many other areas like jobs, sports, etc. Ridgefield students are among the elite. I don’t see the need.

Simply changing the start time will cause more disruption to students' days. Please do not change start times. Change the amount of HW high schoolers get and get them to bed earlier.

The options are detrimental to elementary kids.

Please don't change the school times. The board is making all of these decisions off of experiments and other school districts. They haven't asked high schoolers their opinion. Personally I think you shouldn't make such a large decision, instead, do a 2 week trial to see how everything works, then have everyone vote, somehow including high schoolers because they are most impacted.

Please do not increase my taxes to change something that hasn't been a problem for many of us baby boomers.

Kids needs to go to bed earlier, not sleep later! It's that simple.
