The majority don’t want the change and now we don’t have the funds to implement.

There are no benefits to making school times later, since it will only push the end back. This will also interfere with homework time and activity times, so things will go later, and therefor make us stay up later. The students who are actually going through this should have the most say in it, because it affects their school life. If they want to fix a problem for not enough sleep, give less homework and make school shorter.

Most people want no change - students, parents, teachers. Leave it all alone!

Instead of the squeaky wheel getting the oil, we should recycle it. The majority of affected parties don't want the starting times changed. We don't get to choose what time the world starts their day.

Contrary to the belief of many in support of LSST, there are MANY students who have and need jobs after school. A LSS will severally impeded the ability of these students to support their families, develop in a way a classroom can't help them, and help them help the community.

All students need more sleep, no student should start before 8 am.

Welcome to the real world snowflakes. Life is hard. Get used to it. All of us are sleep deprived. It is how you get ahead. We pay too much for you as it is with all your special needs. You’re not getting a better schedule.

No one on the BOE realizes the impact this will have on the elementary school kids and working parents. The amount of time spent on this issue is absurd and should stop because it just does not make sense no matter the research on sleep. This idea of changing school times for an hour more sleep in the morning is ridiculous because they still will go to bed late no matter what because activities, sports, and homework will have to be done later due to a later start time. So the whole thing is pointless.

Athletes and after school activity or job students will be punished for later start times. Please don't do it.

I do not think such later start times will benefit the kids. It's best to have two time for bus routes but that is too costly.

The issue of our children’s sleep is tied to homework, pressure to take multiple APs, volunteer, and basically be super students! We are not looking at the right factors.

High school should absolutely start later in the morning. Me and my classmates are struggling to get there on time and concentrate in the morning. And I never get the time to eat breakfast (good thing lunch starts at 10!!). But my family needs me to be home in the afternoon to get my younger sister off the bus otherwise they would have to pay someone to do the job.

Does not increase the # of hours teen sleep, only shifts the times in which they'll be sleeping the same # of hours.
