Residents of Kirkland, Bellevue, and Redmond who shop at Red Apple Market in Kirkland's Bridle Trails Shopping Center oppose the decision by Retail Opportunity Investment Corporation (ROIC) to double the lease rate for the market and force the market to close. This market is a community treasure and is broadly supported by thousands of local residents.
I honestly never thought we would reach one thousand signatures when I started this. This is entirely your doing because you recognized how much our neighborhood market matters.

It is so true that the bridle trails red app,e is a community treasure and it would be tragic to loose it! The Red Apple gives us a sense of not only community but friendship and personalization in a world that is becoming too less personalized.

A neighborhood shopping area needs a grocery as the anchor. Fits the zoning, and brings traffic to your property. With Amazon putting pressure on grocers everywhere, the industry is barely making it on the slim margins they have. Keep the store open!

Please keep this Red Apple OPEN! It is a vital and necessary part of our and adjacent communities. There are NO OTHER close grocery stores that serve us, and do as good a job. We DEPEND on them. They are like family to all of us.

Having a Nice local grocery store is a huge part of what gives our immediate area such a nice feel, great convenience and it is a hub in our community.
Please find a way to balance returns for your remote investors without destroying our nice local area!

The Red Apple is a local treasure. It's open during wind storms, snow storms, so we can walk up and get supplies. It stocks items our community needs - seems like I can always find what I need there. The people who work there are friendly and helpful.

Red apple is a vital part of our shopping experience in this mall. It is one of the reasons, we keep coming to the mall. In our case we usually end up hanging out and spending at the other shops in the mall after shopping for produce at Red Apple market

So sad! I sure hope grocery outlet is NOT coming. Does not fit our community.
