The Covid scare has gone too far & forcing people to wear a mask while those who make those rules & mandates have been caught several times not following their own policies. If your are elderly or sick then wear a mask, do not require others to do so.
I do not care one bit if others prefer to wear a mask for themselves but I do believe it should be a personal choice whether to do so or not!
The councils job is not to keep me healthy, it's to protect my rights. It should be left up to the individual whether or not they feel the need to cover thier airway with a mask.
The mandate should end at the originally posed date as hospitalizations have dramatically decreased. Therefore the mandate has met it's goal. It is unacceptable to move the goal posts.
Let masks be optional but it is time to breathe fresh free air again. We have complied, numbers are down vaccine available to those who want it. Let us all have a choice now, please!
You’re all idiots for signing this pointless petition that started AFTER the city had already decided not to extend the mandate. Taking note of every person on here and making business decisions accordingly.
I would like to see it stay in place for two more months until we get the vaccine to everyone 65 and older.

These conformity devices do not inhibit the spread of a virus at all, but they’re doing a great job of destroying people’s immune systems, morale and dignity. Take them off and smile at your neighbors!
