We the undersigned MSA Kart license holders, ex license holders, drivers, mechanics, team managers, officials, marshalls do hereby request that the MSA enter into dialogue that promotes karting, else risk the sport moving away from MSA control. The dwindling numbers of active MSA license holders shows that under MSA control the discipline of karting is dying.
This is a call to arms to come to the table prepared to make changes for the benefit of the sport, and quickly!

The MSA continues to ignore the collapse of our sport while they sit comfortably in their offices. Their silence is a direct insult to every driver and mechanic who knows this discipline is dying under their mismanagement.

I revived a 10 second penalty from a drop nose cone from no fault of my own, got tangled up in someone else's collision and the result of this ended up me losing the British open championship. This is not fair and should be changed.
I am a marshal and have been for a number of years I have seen the numbers dwindling year by year . I think there is too many different classes and it getting 2 expensive for people wanting to enter the sport.
My sons 7 and we spend most weekends out practicing. He's excited to start racing but listening and reading to comments from other parents the cost to compete in cadets is way beyond our means.
As an officials no one from the MSA ever calls me back so I can understand the frustration of drivers who just want to be treated with respect and fairly. Race n Respect is complete SH*T, one goes one way, the MSA seem to have zero respect for their customers and it's only going one way.
Sort the KZ tyres out!! Why are we using non homoligated ancient rock hard rubbish tyres that no other country in Europe or the world use!!! Likely due to the massive conflict of interest due to having the tyre supplier sitting on the board that decides what tyres are used!
This year we have sadly seen a growth in drivers brake checking others at various points in the race in order to deliberately drop their nosecone. Either we need a "21st century" solution (electronic sensors on the front and rear like RGMMC are developing) or we should allow the top ten drivers to appeal nosecone penalties, especially in championship races.
Get rid of the nose cones causing more trouble than cheaters in Karting at the moment.

Big spenders are forcing,lad and dad racing out of karting.we have moved to none msa clubs where it's more of a level playing field,and down to good driving not the amount of money spent
