The intersection of Hwy 18 and Ash Street, near Dayton, has had a number of serious accidents, with the most recent accident taking the life of 13-year-old Kalie Mosgrove and critically injuring her mother Connie. As traffic volume continues to increase, the likelihood of more injuries and deaths are inevitable. We the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now in making the necessary safety improvements to the intersection of Hwy 18 and Ash St, near Dayton.

Used to live right off Ash. Its been dangerous for years and everyone in town knows it. Stop stalling and do the work.

Heartbroken for the Mosgrove family. This intersection is a death trap and local govt should be ashamed it took this long to address it.

I drive through this spot every single day for work and it scares me to death. Something needs to change before another kid gets hurt. Put a light in there already.

WAY too fast. People treat hwy 18 like a race track. Needs a slower speed limit and better warning signs ASAP.
