I believe that I would be an important asset to student senate because I bring a voice into the room for many of the theatre arts and film students on campus. It is important that we have representation for these communities when discussing campus wide issues and relations. I am involved in many things on campus including being a member of Sigma Kappa, IWU's Film Club, Shringara Multicultural Theatre Company, and the Music Theatre Society. This allows me to offer multifaceted views from the students at Illinois Wesleyan University.
