We, the parents of current or future K-Park students would like for the administration to reconsider their current cell phone policy (automatic Saturday class assignment) and to align the consequences for first time offenders to the published board policy (a 15$ fine paid by a parent at the front office). We feel all students within the same district should face similar consequences for the exact same discipline infraction. Cell phones play a different role in society today and we feel like schools need to address this changing role by teaching students appropriate uses in an academic setting.

Saturday school is way too harsh for a first offense. Everyone has a phone now it is just part of life. Follow the $15 rule like the other schools do.
