I am a Canadian born Citizen. My husband Richard, is an American born Citizen. We got married in Langley, BC Canada on March 28th, 2013. We were referred to, what we were told an "Immigration Lawyer" only to find out after four years by Canadian Border Patrol that he is a "Immigration Consultant". We have complied with everything that Immigration Canada has requested, not only did we get scammed by this "Immigration Consultant" but on the U.S side of things documents we had requested and paid for from the Northampton County Courthouse never arrived to support our application! We waited four years for these documents. The end result, my husband was humiliated on Thursday, January 5th, 2017 when Canadian Border Patrol arrive at our home. They handcuffed, frisked and took him to a holding cell at YVR! We were told that there would be a fair hearing for him at 10:00am on Friday, January 6th, 2017 That never happened. He was deported and banned from Canada for a period of One Year! We are heartbroken and miss each other. Since that evening I have actively been emailing the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau to have the ban lifted off my husband. My husband did nothing wrong to be banned from Canada. Our Prime Minister is shouting out to the world that asylum seekers and refugees are welcome, that our borders are open. Meanwhile, a Canadian and American born citizen who paid their dues to Immigration Canada are seperated, the emotional stress is unexplainable! Is our Immigration system a "cash cow" and is the Northampton County Courthouse a corrupt entity, withholding documents and only mailing them out "after the fact". After my husband is sent back to the U.S?

Please sign this petition in support of bringing Richard back into Canada. This happens all too often to innocent citizens who have paid their due diligence. Please join us in voicing our rights to the Government of Canada and to a legal entity in the U.S - The Northampton County Courthouse both organizations had a role in our Inland Spousal Application. Both have failed us.

How many others are experiencing this? If you are? Join us! Sign the petition!
