As someone who has a pet dog/prefers dogs, I know if my dog is trained to be around people; and he isn’t. The lack of awareness that something like this is a continuous problem is appalling to say the least. If you KNOW your pet isn’t properly trained to be around others, let alone other animals, maybe it’s best you don’t make a fake ESA just to have them around. You can’t fake training experience.

Sparkles didn’t just pass away, he was killed. Please make changes to prevent tragedies like this in the future. Proposed changes have been outlined in the petition.
