Stubby was my 13 year old nieces cat. Her neighbor shot Stubby with a BB gun 8/22/14. Stubby did not survive. The man was arrested and released on bail. We would like to see him do time for this crime. Autopsy was done and proved this fact. The story hit the 3 major news stations here in RI. He was charged with a felony that can get him up to 3 years in jail. May niece heard the shot her cat came running from neighbors yard and she had to watch him die. No one should have to watch their pet die like this. We know if he serves time it will not bring Stubby back but may have other people think before they do this to a family pet.
