I think they need to do an investigation,,too many changes of stories from witnesses also Shane had no weapon,over kill of 11 stabs to his body,It was NOT stand ur ground !!!!!!!! CCSO did not do a good job and for the State Attorney he refuses to give us a day in court
I miss shane a lot it sucks that killer is still on the street and not behind bars!!!!! Holly and joushua probably planned to say it was a "home invasion" and thats crap!!!!
we need justice for Shane! there is a dude that murdered him just walking around. he will kill again if we don't get him in jail!!!!!!
sad when citrus county can push for someone to do time for an accident, then do nothing when a grown man can plunge a knife into a teenage boy over & over & call it self defence...seriously I can honestly say I am totally ashamed to live in this county with this type of so called justice....where a man with blood on his hands literally gets away with murder.....
he was family to all that he knew, we all lost a brother and as bad as it hurts for him to be one it hurts worse to see his killer in our society, we demand justice!

We grew up together, lived around the block from each other. He was my first friend moving to Florida in the fifth grade. A true angel sent to me. This man loved his friends and was going to help a friend figure out an argument between his killer and supposed friend. We grew up hanging o it at the house he was murdered at, holly knew Shane since before fifth grade. She let him down by saying he wasn’t allowed there which was such a lie! My best friend was taken by a loser punk! They let him know all away. How do you get let free after stabbing someone 20 something times. Shane exists deserves justice! 2022

I miss you my best friend and my brother Shane Eckard,we all know you wasn't in the wrong, you have such a huge heart and you were saving some ones life and helping like you always have done for people. It's just so sad that this happened to you. You need justice .love you Shane.
