Both of my daughters attended health academy when attending LQHS. They became very reliable and responsible adults do to the health academy instructors. Please continue the program and allow existing instructors to teach. For it is invaluable program

Ms.Pedersen has made a huge impact on my high school experience and my view on life. She has helped expand my mind on life and the medical field. Because of Ms.Pedersen, I have found myself and know what I want to do with my life. She has help put my in direction. Having her no longer lead the academy would be a very sad mistake. She is greatly loved and appreciated.

As a nurse and have seeing the quality of her students come through our clinic it would be a disservice to not have her tim this program as she knows what has work in the past and truly gives the student real exposure to medical field

Mrs. Petersen has been an integral part of the La Quinta High School Medical Health Academy (MHA) for many, many years. Hundreds, if not thousands, have benefited from her leadership and knowledge. To deprive future MHA students from her experience and knowledge is unfathomable, even if it is for 2 years. She should be kept on the lead MHA and pass her knowledge to her successor.
