Mrs. Pedersen was such a nice teacher really respectful but overall hard working throughout my 3 years in MHA she was the most hardworking dedicated teacher I had she was always on top of all our work, assignments, tests, internships but most important she was on top in making sure she prepared us for life after High School and she surely did that really great I don’t believe anyone else would teach MHA better than her these kids that are still in MHA need to learn the correct way and the correct way is letting her teach MHA.

Mrs.Pedersen is one of the many teachers that made a mark in my life. I am proud to say I am a former student of the Health Academy & a 2014 graduate of LQHS. She instilled many great values to many of us. A great role model and a teacher who REALLY cares about the students. I ran into her last summer and she actually remembered me! It meant so much to me & to be able to tell her I pursued my career in the medical field & am now serving the community as an RN working for a school district! I see that many times teachers don’t get a say and things are changed without hearing their thoughts on it, BUT PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HER!

Mrs. Pederson gave me the foundation for my future when I graduated in 2015. She motivated me to become just lika her even a teacher! It is unfair to move her in what she loves . Listen to the students and the teachers, be fair and just. LQHS was a great school she is an amazing teacher who loves what she does don’t move her if she’s happy. She impacted my life an I’m forever grateful!

It is so hurtful to see that employees put in their heart and soul to receive no appreciation for the years put in. Keep Mrs Peterson

Let me start by saying I am completely baffled that this is even an option for the school board, not only for Mrs. Pedersen, but for ANY Pathways to Success teachers.
Mrs. Pedersen has been the most influential person in my life. I do not say this lightly. I went into MHA knowing that I wanted to be in veterinary, but was aware that I may still need to commit to learning human medicine through MHA to start. Class of 2011 was one of the first classes to really grow the veterinary pathway. She connected me with a specialty animal clinic in the desert that allowed me to scrub in and assist with orthopedic surgeries! She came to visit me while I was in a very long surgery with the clinic staff. Without the skills and dedication that she coordinated, single-handed, my resume would be absolutely nothing.
This woman teaches her students to be respectful representatives of the community, strive for greatness, and above all takes each one under her wing.
WE ARE A FAMILY. Removing her from this family, and the most impressive and successful program in the desert, is an insult that she, her students, and her family will bear for the rest of their lives.
I have so many more words and am willing to speak with whomever requires on her behalf.

I think the administration is making the wrong decision here and it will have such a negative affect on all MHA students.

This is another bad decision on the new new administration. Mrs Peterson is an amazing teacher. She has such positive life time affect on her students. My 4 children that have attended LQHS have gone through the Health program are thriving in Thur carriers because of her dedication to the program. I will give personal affidavit on her behalf

Ms Pederson has been leading the Health Academy for nineteen years. She supported me during my years within the academy in high school and was a positive role model to all of the students who she taught. It would be a disservice to not only her, but also the next cohort of the health academy students should she be transferred to PE. Therefore, I am signing this petition to support her in leading the MHA for her final year.

No teacher should be stripped of what they love doing
