Cheryl Avihe Ujaha, 9, murdered and mutilated. Is this what our nation has come to?
Our Justice system is failing us, and has failed us on numerous other occasions. Crime is beginning to run rampant in our dearly beloved nation, and this has to STOP NOW.
We want more stringent laws, punishments NO BAIL conditions within our Justice system. Women and children get raped, murdered and mutilated on a daily basis, and just recently a 9 year old girl had to pay the highest price. She paid with her life!
I hereby plead with every Namibian with in the borders of our beloved country, to sign this petition so that we can go to our President and our Government and make them hear our voices and DEMAND them to bring about the changes to our Justice system and our laws.
Weather we want to admit it or not, our laws protect the criminals more than it does protect the weak and innocent.

ive been reading through your comments and my heart just breaks for all the families going through this pain. i am drafting a formal letter to the authorities so they cant ignore the reality of what is happening to our children.

im honestly overwhelmed by how many people are stepping up to demand real change for cheryl. seeing this kind of movement confirms that we all know the current system just isnt working anymore.

This is some sort of human trafficking becoming a reality in Namibia. We want justice for this little one.
I mourn this little angel every single day as if she was my very own. Pls hear our cry, we are vulnerable and they will keep killing us "woman and kids" our laws need to be re amended and bring back death sentence for there blood hungry animals. Am so heart broken
It's true they have to change it to No Bail.....
Life sentence is not enough for that murder.... Death sentence is the best fit for what he did to an innocent girl.
Enough is Enough.
Our nation is becoming a bad place.

The death penalty must be an option. It's not fair to use our hard earned tax money to support the livelihood of such perpetrators. Let woman and children practice their democratic right, and not live under siege. It is enough!
