The board finally listened and Justin is back where he belongs. Abington CAM management tried to push us around but they failed because we refused to back down. Keep your eyes on the board members to ensure they never pull a stunt like this again.

Final supporters
It has come to the attention of the public that the executive director, Mr. Justin Shannahan, of the Abington Community Access Media station (Abington CAM) has recently been released/is no longer employed by CAM without any justified cause. He was not only a mentor to many interns and students, but a friend as well. He was invested in his work, and the community as a whole. Everything we see on the local channel is made possible by him. Whether it was filming a play, sports games, a talk show, or just helping kids out, Mr. Shannahan deserved his position here in Abington. We just hit one hundred signatures and the cowards on the board are definitely starting to feel the heat. Do not let them think they can fire Justin and face no consequences.

For a man that drives up from the cape everyday should not be replaced by someone that already has two jobs this will make number three. How can this new person give the attention to a third job? That one man gave all his attention to one job for the past 17 years?
Justin directed a show I was on, hosted by Dan Brielmann. He was the epitome of professionalism. Clearly, his work ethic is supreme and he was both exacting and patient. Letting go of Justin is insane. What a gift he was to the station. May he be restored to his position and compensated for his losses and stress forthright!
I have enjoyed Justin's skill and professionalism working with on for both "Abington Celebrates" and for the "Historical Society of Old Abington.". The circumstances of his removal and replacement are suspicious at best.
No doubt about it, losing Justin is much more than just great knowledge. Justin’s gift to adaptably share his knowledge to all levels of skill is our true loss.
Mr. Shannahan is a dedicated worker and has been for two decades. The town of Abington will NOT be the same without him. To be fired without any notice or reasoning, and to be told "get your things and leave" is just so disrespectful and mind blowing on so many levels. Who does that sort of thing?!
this man needs justice. we are SICK of this messed up police system. WE WILL NOT REST TILL WE HAVE JUSTICE. BLACK LIVES MATTER.
We as a community all want you back, and we won't stop fighting until we get what's right!

I’ve seen & heard from many parents & staff on how much this has already affected the kids who interned for him. I’ll be looking for answers.
