Justice for JMC

The students of the A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications, both current and alum, believe that the leadership of the department are directing the program in a wrong direction. After the unfortunate resignation of one of our beloved instructors, we believe that action needed to be taken and therefore we ask that a new approach be taken by Dr. Birgit Wassmuth and the Journalism and Mass Communications Administration when it comes to the future of students and what they want to see done with the program. We propose a committee to be formed consisting of an equal balance of students, both current and alum, as well as faculty to discuss the problems and figure out active changes that could be made to the program for the betterment of the staff, faculty, and students of the JMC program.
