On April 3, 2012, Arizona resident Daniel Adkins walked through the drive-thru at a local fast food restaurant with his yellow labrador, Lady. The driver hit his brakes, almost running Daniel over.
After words were exchanged between the two, the driver of the car reached for his Smith and Wesson. He then fatally shot Daniel Adkins in the chest. The police report states that the shooter "thought he had no other options". (Source: CNN)
Daniel was unarmed. At 29 years old, he has the mental capacity of an adolescent. So far, the shooter has not been arrested.
We, the undersigned, hereby request that you arrest and prosecute the man responsible for the murder of Daniel Adkins.
SELF DEFENSE? Give me a break. You dont just shoot a guy for yelling at you in a drive thru. Justice needs to be served.
