Final supporters
Dimetrious Woods & 100 or so other Missouri Offenders were previously sentenced to sentences that carried a “NO PAROLE,” stipulation attached. In January 2017 new legislation was enacted, which simply eliminated & took away “NO PAROLE,” from the Missouri Criminal Code. Soon After Dimetrious was forced to file suit, claiming his parole eligibility, based on the law holding him for 23years flat for a drug charge being removed from our law books! Ultimately, Judge Green of Cole County believed in Dimetrious’ issue & ruled in his favor, granting him parole eligibility. Soon thereafter The Parole Board, under their own discretion, granted Dimetrious immediate parole! At which time, an overzealous Attorney General’s office filed an appeal! In-which Dimetrious is faced w/ representing his issue & fighting to continue to obtain his freedom!
PLEASE SIGN OUR PETITION, in support of Dimetrious & others simerly situated to be afforded the same opportunity for parole as those today!!! “If our State abolished the death penalty, we would never execute those standing by!”

This man has came out and helped the community. Every time he puts on show to give the community something to do it brings NO violence. He is Only man I see in Missouri who is changing the community for the Good! His children are doing better since is free. Please let this man can’t to do his work.
25 years is way too much time for what he's done, there's people that commited murder that's gotten much less time than that. Let that man stay home with his family. Stop giving of time based on our color, give us time based on our crime.
If the law abolished no parole, how or why is this even a question? People make me sick. Let these men out to get back to their families (especially kids) and move on. What purpose does no parole for a nonviolent offender serve?
After 11 years as a model inmate he deserves a chance to live life and be a productive part of society. The state is into rehabilitation of offenders with the hopes of lowering recidivism rate,not the imprisonment of prisoners. How can u prove rehabilitation without practice.
Young men need their Fathers ! This man has done enough time in the prison system for a non violent offense. Allow this family to reunite and move forward, enough time has been lost that he will never regain. Make this justice system work for the people for once!!!
I pray we will have justice and fairness in our lives and giving equality and help where it's needed jail is not the answer for all and or every situation please see ones person and know cries for help for this is a world of hurt. May God heal and bless us all and cover us in his blood so that we may be whole and mighty in his works. In Jesus MIGHTY name, Amen.
It would be total injustice if this young man has to return to a place a disparity with no hope after coming home and accomplished some security without assistance from anyone other than family. That would be cruel and unusual.

The Judge and the Parole Board ruleing should be upheld . after the person has positioned himself back in to suciety with job and reunited with children and grandchildren . this is what reabilitating is all about .
