PETITION FOR RELEASE
To Illinois Governor Pat Quinn and the Prisoner Review Board. I am a supporter of Doiakah Sterling Gray, and I support a merciful commutation of Doiakah’s 80 year prison sentence to 40 years based upon the rehabilitation he has undergone.
I further support Doiakah’s commutation because I believe the United States and the Illinois Criminal Justice System is built upon justice, punishment and rehabilitation an offender back into citizenship. Doiakah has met the requirements needed to earn a second chance in our society. I place my name below in support of Doiakah’s commutation.:

I HAVE MET HIM PERSONALLY AND HE IS A CHANGED MAN. TRULY A DIFFERENT PERSON THAN WHO HE WAS SO MANY YEARS AGO.
he is a good man now. let him out please.
80 years is way too much for someone who clearly turned his life around. give him a chance.
He has been in long enough. Time for him to come home to his family.
Doiakah has done the work while inside. he deserves to be released now.

Doiakah Gray has been a model prisoner and has earned many certificates and degrees. He is definitely a reformed person from the age of 17 to 40. He has also received a Doctorate in religion.
