The District Attorney has officially filed charges against the driver in this case. I have received confirmation that the legal process will now move forward into the courtroom. We will continue to monitor the proceedings closely to ensure the case remains on track.

On April 14th 2017 Alishia Butler was killed in a tragic car accident,due to a negligent driver. I am asking that this petition be signed to help bring justice. The driver that was driving the vehicle was going an excessive rate of speed. She also did not insure that the children in the vehicle where wearing seatbelts. This caused several injuries and one death, I believe that this women should be charged. I will be sending this to the District Attorneys office. So please help give Alishia and my family the justice we deserve.

The volume of support has reached a level that allows me to proceed with a formal presentation to the District Attorney. I have finalized the documentation and am coordinating with their office to schedule a meeting to review these materials.

Alisha was one of my bestfriends.. I miss her more than anything and I want justice for Alisha❤
This precious girl was a innocent child with an adult who's careless n reckless driving caused her to lose her life. A mother who lost not only her one n only daughter but her best friend soul mate courage n strength. We need to speak N be this girls voice
Im alishias. MOM and having my only daughter killed by A (So called Adult) as i watch her post pic and walk free i ask myself how is this justice? How can someone kill a child get to post pics of her happy life text my family and friends and Walk free like "oh well" Laws for children must be changed MY CHILD WILL NOT BE KILLED "just Cause" and her killer walk free please sign this and get ALISHIAS VOICE HEARD!!!! Her family thanks you all ....
There are a few other cases just like this one in the headlines right now and the person driving the car is being charged with manslaughter. The laws should be the same across the board.
I didn't know you but anyone responsible for someone else's death needs to be held accountable for their actions.
