I have been reading through the stories you all are sharing about what this place means to your families and honestly I am just overwhelmed. This was just a quiet hope of mine but seeing how many of you feel the same way about our shared history is truly humbling.

I am truly overwhelmed by the momentum behind this cause and I never imagined this many people would feel the same way about the Chapel. It is clear that this history belongs to all of us and this movement belongs entirely to you.

my grandparents used to tell stories about this place. it belongs to all of us and should be protected properly.
malacca is losing too many of its old buildings lately. stop tearing down our identity for new condos.

SO MUCH HISTORY JUST ROTTING AWAY. FIX IT UP BEFORE THE WHOLE THING FALLS DOWN
