With resource constraints in a constantly aging population, a once-hidden problem will be impossible to overlook. But as more studies come to light – and as state Adult Protective Services data show an uptick in the reporting of incidents – elder abuse has emerged as an important social public health issue. But whatever the statistics for the U.S. and beyond, researchers do agree that elder abuse is an epidemic.
What is Elder Abuse?Specific definitions vary on what elder abuse really is, and those definitions continue to evolve. The WHO calls elder abuse “a single, or repeated act, or lack of appropriate action, occurring within any relationship where there is an expectation of trust which causes harm or distress to an older person”. It can be verbal, physical, psychological or emotional, sexual or financial. It can also be neglect–either intentional or unintentional.

The people holding Joe Biden hostage in this race are ignoring the clear signs of distress and it is time for them to look at the massive wave of opposition standing against their cruelty. We are building real momentum now and the elites running the DNC have no choice but to acknowledge that their sick game of political theater is over.

So sad what Joe Biden’s wife and family are allowing the senile old man to endure. They need to show him enough love and respect to let him resign and go home to live the rest of his life in peace.
Elder abuse has always been handled extremely poorly in all sectors, but for the American people to have to witness this very thing, even worse done in front of our very eyes on a global scale then that elderly abuse now effects the entirety of the American people. These laws to protect the elderly obviously does not apply to our sitting President, so then how can we expect help that would see change in other areas with less fortunate and prevalent conditions? Disgusting and abhorrent! No country I could be proud of!
Convict Jill Biden for this. She knew her husband had cancer he was in pain and he was having to be president which is normally a very hard job.

This is clear abuse of an elderly old man with rapidly declining cognitive ability. It’s a disgrace that this is allowed to happen. He needs an intervention asap! I feel for him and his family and those around him need to do the right thing. Enough already let the man enjoy what time he has left without being subjected to global humiliation.
