This petition is protesting the EXTREME cuts to the federal funding for Canadian student summer jobs. The Prime Minister claims that he wants students to get jobs that relate to their future careers, but yet he has cut funding for programs like WISE (Women in science and engineering) at MUN, and jobs at the Archiological Site in Ferryland. This only names TWO programs of the many that have received NO FUNDING from the Canadian government. Please sign and show your support for all canadian students!
