PHQ & MM Bethel #16 Penticton British Columbia Canada. Any titles earned within the guidelines should absolutely remain intact regardless of what happens after the fact. I am appalled and disgusted that this is even being considered. Those members worked hard for those titles and should be theirs (if they chose) for eternity. Supreme Council and any members supporting this should be ashamed of themselves. Time to get rid of the old buggers and join this century.

Definitely a disgusting move by our highest governing body in the organization. Job’s Daughters is struggling for members...and now they want to strip any transitioning female to male of any titles they’ve achieved. Transphobia has no place in a youth organization that is suppose to be accepting to all. So embarrassing.

If we open this box, we have to deal with the reverse. I object more to the reverse than to the current objections.

I’m sorry but I did not work my entire term for the daughters to have the right to express them selves, be different, and understand that nothing that they do/wear makes them above anyone else in the bethels, to have someone who has no clue what’s it’s like to be a daughter having people judge and be against what she is doing and who she is take away any of the members rights to be members. It does not matter if they have transitioned a jobs daughter is a jobs daughter. All their hard work they put in should not be now taken away because they have decided to be who they really are. As a MM and PHQ who pushed the boundaries of what a “daughter” should look like and be, I will be completely disgusted if these amendments are passed. The fact that these people are more focused on what is in current and past members pants, instead of creating new and more important and improving amendments for the better of our order makes me absolutely sick to my stomach. I will write a letter to anyone you need me to

We've already had trans people in the organization and it hasn't hurt anyone...

I find it excessive and spiteful to put forth this amendment. Any person who has served and loved our organization, who has fulfilled their obligations and has earned the title should be able to call themselves "Past Honored Queen." That should be left up to the individual, not to an overly complicated, rigid set of bylaws. "To be Fair is to do Good." For the love of God, in a complicated world, let's keep what we can simple! With love for all the world, Michelle Moode, PHQ, MM, Jurisdiction Earth

PHQ and MM Bethel #9 North Vancouver, BC. I am disgusted by these 'amendments'!!! We do not stand for bigotry nor hatred and I am appalled by the SGC. I have never been ashamed of my organization... until today.

I am opposed to this amendment on the grounds it is in contradiction to our inclusion policy

Job’s Daughters is meant to be a safe place for ALL of its members. When they join our organization, we promise them that as members they will have our unconditional love and support as they grow and learn and become the amazing people they are meant to be. Whether they end up transitioning from female to male along the way shouldn’t matter. They are still ours, and shouldn’t be abandoned by the order, simply for being true to themselves.

This is an absolute loss in the jobs daughters community. I am outraged

I think that ftm PHQ should be able to choose whether they maintain their titles or not. They did just as much for our orders any other PHQ, whether they want this as part of their future should be their choice.

These old views are what can and will kill our order what if young trans girls want to join? will you deny them our sisterhood and love just as you wish to deny those whom are trans male that have loved our sisterhood but dont feel it is truly them they can still support and love their sisters!!!

To turn an organization that was created to make a space of equality, into an organization that disregards the achievements of someone just because they are trans is outrages.
