As a PHQ. MM, PBG #28 DUluth MN and recipient of degree of Royal Purple - no no no, this is just wrong, The girls earned those titles,. THey did nothing wrong to have the titles removed. Please rethink.

If this amendment passes, it will be the nail in the coffin of Job's Daughters. It has already morphed into an organization that I do not ever want my daughters to be a part of.

The titles, honors, and rights of PHQs MMs were earned through service and dedication to our order.
If transgender MMs don't want the titles or honors, great. But to take it away against their will makes this a punishment for being true to themselves and that is NOT what Job's Daughters stands for.

We voted not too long ago to accept the girls and their choices and now we are taking titles?

Our youth organizations are here to support, love and lift our youth up. And especially our youth that are at higher risk. And anyone who earned their titles deserve to keep their titles no matter what gender you are. They are just like you and I, wanting to live their truest life in love, respect and peace.

Job's is a safe place for all members and in my Bethel we will welcome anyone who wants to join, including those that identify as female. Sure, reasonable accommodations will be needed. Titles earned should not be stripped from the member. I don't know if a PHQ/MM who is a trans male adult would want to be recognized, escorted, and given Bethel Honors or not. But it should be up to him, not up to SGC! This is codifying discrimination into the By-Laws!
