Miss Idaho Job's Daughter and proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community. We need to be inclusive and loving towards all our sisters, even when they become our brothers. I love this organization with all my heart and I cannot stand here and watch these intolerant rules be passed. We are all God's children and He loves all of us, no matter what.

I can’t believe something so horrible and discriminating would even be considered.

I am very disappointed with this proposed amendment.
Not only is it discrimination but the daughter earned those titles through hard work. If she decides to change her gender, the titles were still earned and should be able to keep them.
Not a good example of tolerance

How ppl identify is no ones business but their own. Everyone worked hard for titles and it shouldnt be taken away or thought any less of. If it doesn’t directly affect you, mind your own business.

I believe all amendments regarding lgbtq+ and transgender persons should be completely removed.

I am a PHQ and MM and former council member. I find this change against transgender members abhorrent. When I was an active member, we prided ourselves on being an inclusive organization. I was in the bethel room the very first time the Koran was placed on the altar.
This proposed change makes it clear to me that the organization I was proud to be a member of and council member for has lost its way.

This order has shown me nothing but love and I believe all members past and present deserve that same love and support that I have received. I think the daughters have voiced their opinions on the matter and I think if our adults truly take into consideration what the girls want, these amendments will be struck down.

As a devoted member of Job’s Daughters, it’s truly saddens me to see a proposed amendment of this nature. The decision to transition is incredibly important and brave. These people have suffered their entire lives to fight and hide who they are. The passing of this amendment would be incredibly disrespectful to the ideals of Job’s Daughters.
1. A transgendered person’s name is incredibly important to them. They usually have traumatic experiences tied to their misgendered name and it carries a lot of pain and suffering. It is very disrespectful to refer to a transgendered person by the wrong name, so refusing to change the record to reflect their correct gender will be very harmful.
2. Everyone who holds a title in Job’s Daughters has worked extremely hard for that title. They had to do the exact same work in order to achieve that title as a girl who did not transition. That hard work entitles them to be recognized at events regardless of what gender they are.
These amendments are harmful to our organization and are not welcome in today’s society. These amendments are not taking our beautiful organization in the right direction.
