This is an absurd situation whereby an elected representative is being punished for bringing dubious practices to the notice of the electorate. What message does this send to other potential whistleblowers? West Dunbartonshire Council should hang it’s head in collective shame.

Someone needs to stop this corruption and disregard for publuc funds as it impacts on most vulnerable in our community. Jim Bolan's tenacity it the only light in this whole debacle. I support him all the way.

An honest man who has consistantly represented the commuinity who may be petitioned not to stand as a councillor due to questioning an unelected hierarchy to justify their expenditure and penalised because they could not justify the question.

Following cut backs due to Council Budget restrictions Dalnottar Cemetery was a mess. I contacted 22 Councillors in this regard and got the courtesy of a reply from 2, Jim Bollan and David McBride neither of whom were the actual Councillors for my Lomond ward.

Well done Jim keep up the good work.
I hope you get to the bottom of this problem and soon will clearly expose what has been happening in WDC by these publicly funded officers.

A man of intelligence, integrity, empathy, a free thinker, the other Council members dislike members with those qualities, no other Councillor comes close to what Jim has done for the community and to point out years of corruption.
