JCFR is trying to get at least 100 digital signatures in order to present the fire-cam idea to the Jones County Fire Council. Most of you should already know what this idea is about, but for those of you that don't, here's a quick rundown: the fire-cam will be attached to volunteer firefighter's helmets, which will enable you to see what we see. The camera will film both inside and outside of a burning structure. We hope that these videos will not only engage the community into the life of a Jones County Volunteer Firefighter but will also promote fire safety in every person's home.
