I have been spending my time reading through the messages you all have left and the pain in those stories is heavy. Please know that your kindness is the only thing moving this forward because I certainly never anticipated this kind of response.

The city needs to step up. Safety for our children is the bare minimum we should expect.
so sad. thinking of her family constantly. enough is enough.
Heartbreaking loss. Our kids shouldnt be walking in the street just to get to their friends houses. Fix this road now.
Lived here 10 years and its always been a death trap. do something about it!!!
Way too many cars speed down this road. We need lights and a safe place to walk before another family gets their heart ripped out.

Cant believe it took a tragedy to even talk about this. Jamie deserved better. Put the sidewalks in.
