In the 15 years I've lived on James Island, it has gone crazy with building , and the roads can not handle it. The city needs to put a stop to what benefits a few builders, compared to the traffic problems for residents of the city.

Born and raised on the island and hate to see how crowded it has become. It needs to stop

I live and bike on James Island. The roads are crowded and dangerous and we are losing too much greenspace. We need PLANNING and to stop letting developers do what they want to the detriment of the people who live here!

I live on James Island and insist that infrastructure improvements are planned and funded before allowing additional growth. There needs to be accountability by those adding to the strain on our daily lives. Other parts of town are doing it, so we must too.

Current infrastructure cannot handle the existing traffic, much less thousands more from additional high density housing developments!

Traffic on James Island is already ridiculous without adding any more apartments. High density housing in particular destroys the the natural beauty of the Island. Stop building now.

As a home owner in Stiles Point Plantation, we pay plenty in taxes. We don't need a bunch of apartments causing a lot more traffic and creating very little tax income for the greater good of James Island.

James Island can not support any more traffic. The addition of more apartments will ruin the appeal to live on the island.

Please stop the madness! We need better roads and public transportation and a well constucted plan before this continues to haphazardly grow out of control! James Island deserves better than this!

Instead of luring in new taxpayers to live in apartments and condominiums, how about we maintain/improve the lifestyle of the currents citizens? Apartment dwellers will only increase gridlock.

I ask that City Council reconsider all approval of multi family complexes on James Island until an impact study of schools and traffic can be completed. The residents of James Island are stuggling with current road improvements with future improvements already approved for the next two years. I also feel an impact study our education structure is important with the emphasis on over crowding, teachers and current conditions of our buildings. Thank you for any consideration on this matter.
