James Island is already hitting it's maximum capacity with the amount of additional housing that's been built recently and the increase in visitors to Folly Beach. Congestion is alarmingly high during day time hours any day of the week. We can't handle any more increase. Stop destroying the little greenspace we have left in the name of profit and crowding us to the point that longtime natives are considering leaving. The James Island we grew up with has already become a distant memory.

Let's get an apartment moratorium going for johns island too. More people will LITERALLY not fit on this island. It's just got to stop. Everything that's so wonderful about this city is being destroyed by greedy selfish developers and tourist who don't go home!!!!!

I grew up on James Island for 27 years and while growth and progress are good, they should not be expedited due to greed. Keep the charm alive that people fell in love with in the first place

I have to care for my baby born last week amidst the noise of the construction you approved for even more multi-family housing units on Stefan Drive. It's already difficult to care for a newborn, but add that awful construction noise?! Shame on you.

Too much unchecked growth in this area. The lowcountry is being robbed of everything that makes it special by greedy developers.

The voters are paying attention, sharing information, and will vote accordingly. We will support those elected officials who support this cause and we will actively work against any official who will not support this issue.

Developer greed, City Officials working their interests instead of for the safety and quality of life for local James Islanders who have had absolutely ENOUGH of this. We can't move around our island now and you want to bring MORE apartments? Let's talk face to face, we're ready.

Please stop! The people are speaking out and you should listen to what is truly right for the fauna and flora. For the respect for all.
