Please save our beautiful island from any more development and congestion. I have been a resident of James Island my whole life (39 yrs). We accept the changes and growth but all these extra condos, apt. Complexs are ruining James Islands beauty and charisma. Thk you for your time.

2 year moratorium!!!!

Please! Put a 2 year moratorium in place until we can figure out what is going on with the infrustructure - traffic is bad and getting worse every day. Also, We have flooded twice in the last 18 months at our new home... and the flood plan study is held up because"of funding". We need to stop the madness and understand that overbuilding is NOT the answer!

Two years will give us enough time to study this matter further. Six months is over before it starts. Thank you for your consideration.

I moved to James Island from Long Island, NY because it seemed cozy, had light traffic and like a good place to retire. Traffic has increased at least 5 fold since my move 4 years ago. High density housing will only make things worse.

Please stop this horrendous idea!!

I moved to James Island 2 years ago from Mt. Pleasant in large part because of the increasing development and traffic in that town. To repeat the mistakes made in MP is nothing short of tragic. We CANNOT let that happen here! Please enact a 2 year moratorium so that we can all get together and agree on a sensible plan for development.

Long time James Island resident and I am saddened by the lack of planning on the part of the local government. Enough already! Our roads are falling apart and cannot handle more traffic yet high occupancy housing is popping up like kudzu. It's all money driven and it's time to stop. Infrastructure cannot handle it and residents are sick of it.

Please vote yes for an apartment moratorium on James island. Stop with the over construction!

I can appreciate development on our island, however our infrastructure, schools etc. needs time to catch up. Missing the days of sleepy, beautiful JI...please slow down and don't destroy our island

Stop building on James Island.

Y'all are destroying the island I grew up on and love the only theater new apts and good luck getting to the beach now and 10 min commute to see freinds now an hour . Heart breaking
