James Grissom, the drunk driver that ran over Tommy Hanback, is up for parole. He was a repeat DUI offender when he hit Tommy in 1993. This horrible event still causes Tommy much suffering. Grissom has been released before and broke his probation. He even showed up drunk at work release. In my opinion, he has been given multiple chances and has failed every time. He does not need to be out where he could possibly cause others the pain and suffering that he caused and continues to cause Tommy and his family. Please sign this petition to keep him behind bars.

I live in the same community of Tommy Hanback and his family. I have 3 children, 2 of whom drive. I would rather he be behind bars than on the road driving drunk and keep everyone else safe. It's unfortunate that Tommy has had to deal with the pain and surgeries he's been through due to someone else's negligence.
Why does the justice system still persist in doing this great injustice to the rest of us who strive to abide by the law? No parole! Start upholding the rights of the law abiding citizens so we won't have to wonder if our lives, or the lives of our loved ones, will be taken by a drunk driver.
As a close friend of Tommy's, and someone who was there that night, this man deserves to never take a free breath again. What he took from Tommy can never be repaid!
I have known Tommy Hanback for years and I have seen the suffering he goes thru on a daily basis because of what this James Grissom did to him. This man should not be let out to ruin someone else's life like he has done to Mr Hanback. Mr Grissom has proved over and over he can't control his problem and he needs to stay behind bars so he can't hurt anyone else
Tommy has been a friend of mine for 25 yrs, he was an outstanding athlete that had his future cut short due to a drunk driver. He now has to look back and wonder what would have or could have been if he had not been ran over by a car operated by a drunk driver. Tommy continues to have terrible pains everyday of his life that he should have never had to experience. So I'm asking you to look at a 39 year old man that has been going through terrible pains for 23 years and see that the drunk driver does not deserve to be out of prison and given another chance to ruin the hopes and dreams of another kid or maybe even their life, thanks steven
My husband and I see Tommy's daily pain he has suffered ever since April 24, 1993. On this day Tommy and his families lives changed forever all because James Frisson made the choice to drive drunk. I feel that his parole should be denied because of his lack of care for others changed Tommy's life forever. He has broken his parole when he was awarded parole before and obviously doesn't care about anyone but himself. I feel parole needs to be denied in order to keep others safe and hopefully keep someone else and their families from the suffering and pain he caused to Tommy and his family on that day in April 1993!

Tommy is my son-in-law. He is a very faithful, dedicated, loving husband to my daughter. He is a wonderful, loving Dad to my grandsons. He works for me and I watch him suffer everyday because of his injuries that James Grissoms did to him. He wife and sons and his parents are affected by this everyday. Tommy is an exceptional young man who does all that he can and more for his family, his job, his church and his community in spite of what that drunk driver, James Grissoms did to him.
