Take a five minute (or less) shower and turn off water while lathering, shampooing, brushing teeth or shaving.
Turn off sink faucet while lathering your hands or brushing your teeth.
If not using a low-flow toilet or dual flush, "if it's yellow let it mellow and if it's brown flush it down.
Only operate the washing machine with full loads.
Check for and repair, dripping faucets and leaking toilets throughout the home.
I will never waste water. I will not contaminate our drinking water. I will not pollute our precious water resources. I won't hesitate to tell my neighbors and others the sad state of water in our holy rivers, lakes, tanks, wells, and streams, and request them not to pollute them. I pledge to conserve every drop of water that I can every day of the week.

I was looking at the kitchen tap earlier and realized I hold my breath every time I turn it on now. It is funny how these small habits sink in once you start paying attention to the pipes and the rivers and all the places the water goes after we use it. People have been messaging me about their own struggles with leaking faucets and it makes it feel much less like I am shouting into a void.

I never left food on my plate and I always take water in a glass according to my requirements. So it will not waste.

It is foremost component of life. It should be preserved more efficiently to preserve life on the planet. So we should take initiative to consume effectively, deploy mechanism to harvest it and panelise those abuse it by wasting, freebies etc

What we need is wider awareness that’s lacking. I appreciate the selfless efforts being put in that direction such as this.
