Help stop the ten minutes of silence at lunch!!! If you don't know what I'm talking about then read on. At my school, at the beginning of lunch every day (ever since the first day of school this year) we have to eat in silence for ten minutes of our twenty five minutes. I believe this is a violation of our first amendment rights. The reason for my Principal doing of this is that she says kids will not eat their lunch if not for this silence. when ever I ate lunch in the past years I almost always finished it. in the past years of my going to this school the school has used silence for punishment. check out the blog tab for more.
